Match the cable and its connectivity
If your BOQ specifies Cat6A, identify the matching category for patch panels, jacks and patch cords rather than assuming existing Cat6 accessories meet the same requirement. Provide any end-to-end performance or testing requirements with the enquiry.
For the cable itself, state the required conductor size, shielding and jacket. If you need 23 AWG, an LSZH/LSHF jacket or outdoor PE construction, include that wording as a requirement for verification against the offered model. Similar jacket descriptions do not replace the project’s stated test requirements.
