Start with fiber type, core count and installation route
State whether the design requires single-mode or multimode fiber, the specified fiber designation and the number of cores. The supplied Elsewedy brochure lists single-mode G.652D and G.657 variants and multimode OM3, OM4 and OM5 across its range. Confirm the exact requirement rather than substituting between them.
Outdoor enquiries should distinguish duct, direct-buried, aerial or other installation routes and identify armour, strength member and jacket requirements. Indoor and indoor/outdoor distribution requests should state the building route and applicable fire-performance requirements.
Include the termination arrangement: SC or LC connectors, polishing type where specified, patch panels, pigtails, splice closures or termination boxes. Panel fiber capacity and cabinet space should match the design.
