A rack size is more than its U height
Include the equipment dimensions, cable bend space and required working clearance when specifying rack depth. State the number of rack units, cabinet width, mounting arrangement and load requirement. Equipment rails, shelves and cable managers also use space.
The supplied Elsewedy brochure lists wall cabinets from 6U to 20U and floor-standing racks from 12U to 48U across the range. Size combinations, usable depth, load ratings and accessory compatibility must be confirmed for the exact offered model.
Outdoor cabinets require a separate review of mounting, material, corrosion exposure, ventilation, sealing and the required IP rating. If a project needs authority or consultant acceptance, send the exact documentation checklist; approval should not be assumed from the cabinet category.
